Working principle and advanced technology
The MAD AMPX 50A regulator is built on the AM32 architecture, a new open platform for ESCs that is being actively developed by the community . Unlike the closed BLHeli_32, AM32 allows you to flexibly configure parameters and receive more detailed telemetry. The 32-bit STM32G071 microcontroller operating at 64 MHz provides high signal processing speed and control accuracy . The device is capable of transmitting voltage, current and temperature data to the flight controller, allowing for real-time monitoring of the power plant status.
The sophisticated circuit design includes an 8-layer PCB with increased copper thickness (8*30Z), which guarantees excellent conductivity and efficient heat dissipation even under long-term loads. Low-impedance Infineon transistors with a resistance of only 1.5 milliohms installed on the board help minimize losses and heat. Additional stability is provided by 14 low-impedance TDK 22uF capacitors that smooth out voltage ripples.
