The NanoPi NEO4 microcomputer is built on a Rockchip RK3399 processor. This is a six-core big.LITTLE architecture with two Cortex-A72 cores. The frequency of large cores reaches 2.0 GHz. Four Cortex-A53 cores operate at 1.5 GHz. Built-in Mali-T864 graphics accelerator supports OpenGL and OpenCL.
Video processor decodes 4K video in H.265 and VP9 formats. The amount of DDR3 RAM is 1 GB. The board does not have a built-in eMMC drive. But you can install the eMMC module through a special slot. Loading is possible from a microSD card up to 128 GB. Power is supplied via USB-C port from 5V/3A. The PCB size is only 60x45mm. The weight of the device is 30.25 grams. Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +70 °C.
A special feature of the model is a rich set of interfaces in a minimal area. The board has one USB 3.0 Type-A port. Two USB 2.0 ports are also available. One USB 2.0 is output to a 2.54 mm connector. USB Type-C port supports OTG and power. Built-in Gigabit Ethernet provides high-speed networking. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 provide wireless freedom. There is a MIPI-CSI connector to connect the camera.
