  • Powerful processor. Quad-core Rockchip RK3528A (ARM Cortex-A53) with a frequency of up to 1.5 GHz provides excellent performance .

  • Gigabit Ethernet. The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port ensures high-speed wired connectivity for data transfer and telemetry .

  • Flexibility of expansion. M.2 Key-E 2230 slot for installing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or NVMe SSD modules via an adapter.

  • eMMC support. Possibility of installing a fast eMMC module for reliable storage of OS and data in addition to microSD.

  • Compact and low power consumption. Consumes only about 5 W, operates in a temperature range from 0 to 80°C and is easily integrated into any system .

What is NanoPi Zero2 and how does it work

The NanoPi Zero2 is a single board computer (SBC) from FriendlyELEC designed for headless applications where no monitor connection is required. It is controlled by the Linux operating system (Debian, Ubuntu, OpenWrt) from a microSD card or built-in eMMC module, which are connected to the connectors on the back of the board. All the power resides in a Rockchip RK3528A SoC with a quad-core processor and Mali-450 GPU, which also decodes 4K video in hardware, although there is no on-board video output .

Connection to the local network and the Internet is via a built-in gigabit Ethernet port. For wireless communication, there is an M.2 Key-E 2230 slot, where you can install, for example, a Wi-Fi 5 module with Bluetooth support. The board also features a 30-pin FPC header for GPIO, providing access to UART, SPI, I2C, PWM and other I/O interfaces, allowing you to connect sensors, relays and other peripherals.

Power is supplied via USB Type-C or special pins on the board. Two programmable LEDs (SYS and LED1) and RESET, RECOVERY and MASK buttons are designed to indicate status and low-level operation of the system. Debugging is carried out via an 8-pin UART connector with a speed of 1500000 bps
