Choose ISDT X16 - a dual-channel charger with record power of 2200 W
The ISDT X16 charger is a powerful power station for professional builds. The device converts the mains current from the outlet into a stable voltage. The AC input range is 100 to 240 Volts without switching. At the output, the unit produces an adjustable DC voltage from 10 to 72 V. This allows you to service power batteries with up to sixteen cells.
-
The total power of 2200 W allows you to charge huge 16S batteries.
-
Two independent channels operate simultaneously with a current of up to 20 A.
-
Intelligent balancing with a current of 1.5 A aligns the cells very quickly.
-
A bright 2.8-inch IPS color display shows all the data.
-
Supports modern high-voltage LiHv and ULiHv batteries up to 16S.
The charging section consists of two completely independent channels. Each of them is capable of delivering current in the range of 1–20 A. The total charging power reaches 1100 W per channel. This figure is relevant when connected to a 220 Volt network. If the mains voltage is 110 Volts, the power is reduced to 800 W.
This is still enough to quickly work with heavy batteries. The parallel charging function combines the channels into one powerful circuit. In this mode, the current rises to an impressive 35 A. The total output reaches a peak of 1800 W.
Additional features
Discharge capabilities are implemented through the built-in Smart Discharge function. The discharge current is adjustable in the range from 0.5 to 3 A. The discharge power for each of the two channels is limited to 50 W. This is useful for putting batteries into long-term storage mode. Excess energy is neatly discharged without overheating the device.
Particular attention is paid to the accuracy of balancing cells of Li-Xx assemblies. A balancing current of 1.5 A per cell shortens the final stage. X16 supports LiFe, LiPo, LiHv and the latest ULiHv batteries. The range of work with high-voltage elements is from 2S to 16S.
The user interface is displayed on a high-contrast 2.8-inch IPS LCD screen. Operation is intuitive thanks to the rotary encoder and touch buttons. The menu system displays graphs of voltage and internal resistance. This helps to notice the degradation of an aging battery in a timely manner.
The device body measures 276 by 246 millimeters in width. The height of the case is 82 millimeters and weighs about 3.5 kg. A powerful element base requires high-quality heat removal. Two active fans with intelligent control maintain a comfortable temperature. The operating temperature range is from 0 to plus 40 degrees. Subject to these conditions, the service life of the station will be maximum.
