Operating principle and technical details
Charger ISDT F160 Quad are four independent high-precision chargers in a single system. The central processor distributes power and controls the algorithms on each channel. For LiPo batteries, the CC/CV algorithm is used on all channels. The device supplies constant current until the battery voltage reaches its peak. Then it switches to constant voltage mode, reducing the current.
The key feature is active balancing that works in real time. It does not discharge the leading cells, but pumps excess energy between banks. This happens on all four channels simultaneously and is much faster than passive balancing. ISDT F160 Quad also monitors temperature and internal resistance. This allows you to assess the condition of the battery and optimize the charging process for it.
