The device receives signals from satellites. GPS and GLONASS systems are used simultaneously. The receiver calculates the exact coordinates and altitude. The data is transmitted to the flight controller. This allows the drone to stabilize in space. Offline features become accessible and secure.
The work is based on the advanced U-blox M8N chipset. It tracks up to 22 satellites simultaneously. This significantly improves positioning accuracy. The built-in compass corrects the course according to the cardinal directions. The barometer ensures accurate altitude retention. All data is transmitted via a digital protocol.
CUAV NEO V4 SE has impressive parameters. The supply voltage is 3.3-6.6 V. It is compatible with most flight controllers. The module supports UART, I2C and SPI protocols. The number of reception channels is 22 simultaneously. Positioning accuracy reaches 2.5 meters.
The device supports all major satellite systems. These are American GPS and Blastdrak GLONASS. The European Galileo system is also available. The maximum data update rate is 10 Hz. This is important for dynamic flights and FPV racing. The module is equipped with a built-in backup battery.
The backup battery stores the almanac data. This speeds up the “cold start” of the device. The first capture time is reduced to 15 seconds. The module dimensions are compact - 35x35x9.5 mm.
