This makes it possible to detect objects as small as 25x1.7 cm at a distance of 1 meter. The device is ideal for drones, robots, automatic doors and security systems. Operating principle and application possibilities

The TF-NOVA lidar uses Pulse Time-of-Flight technology. A laser diode with a wavelength of 905 nm (class 1, eye-safe) emits a linear light beam. The reflected signal is received by a highly sensitive detector, and the device calculates the distance to the object. The unique beam shape allows you to monitor not just one point, but an entire area, which is critical for collision avoidance systems.

The sensor finds application in a variety of fields. In drones, it ensures stable altitude retention and safe landing. In automatic doors and industrial AGVs it prevents collisions and injuries. In cameras with autofocus, TF-NOVA helps achieve instant sharpness even in difficult lighting conditions.
