The VEYE board is a compact camera module for embedded systems. Light enters the sensor through an interchangeable M12 or CS mount lens. The SONY STARVIS sensor converts light into an electrical signal with a high dynamic range. The built-in ISP processor processes RAW data from the matrix. It performs auto or manual adjustment of exposure and white balance. The user can adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness and saturation.

The camera supports a rolling shutter and a wide range of shutter speeds from 1/25 to 1/50000 seconds. A long shutter speed function is available for shooting in complete darkness. To improve image quality, 2D and 3D noise reduction algorithms are used. DOL-WDR and Defog modes help you get a clear picture in fog or in bright backlight.
