Operating principle and purpose of the regulator
ESC HGLRC ICE 150A SBEC controls the speed of the brushless motor. It receives signals from the drone's flight controller. The microprocessor decodes the commands and generates three-phase current. This current is supplied to the motor windings in strict sequence. This ensures a smooth and precise change in rotation speed.
The built-in BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) is a key feature. It converts high battery voltage into stable 5-12V. This voltage powers the on-board electronics: controller, receiver, camera. You don't need a separate battery for low-power devices. The system becomes lighter and easier to assemble.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The technical parameters of this ESC are impressive. Continuous current is 150 Amps. The peak (burst) current reaches 200A within 10 seconds. The regulator supports batteries up to 6S (25.2V). The built-in SBEC produces stable 5-12V at currents up to 8A. This is enough to power the entire on-board network.
