Buy the LILYGO T-Beam Supreme board for ultra-long-range LoRa communications and precise GPS positioning of your drone

LILYGO T-Beam Supreme is a high-performance IoT platform designed for developers and engineers. The model is built on a powerful ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a frequency of 240 MHz. The built-in LoRa transceiver SX1262 provides data transmission over kilometers. The GNSS L76K receiver simultaneously works with GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou. This is an ideal solution for ground telemetry stations and autonomous trackers.

5 main advantages

  • Dual-core ESP32-S3 processor with 240 MHz frequency for fast data processing.
  • Long-range LoRa module SX1262 for communication over distances of up to several kilometers.
  • Accurate GNSS receiver L76K with support for GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou.
  • Built-in QMI8658 six-axis IMU for orientation and motion tracking.
  • Compatible with Arduino, PlatformIO and MicroPython for agile development.

How the LILYGO T-Beam Supreme board works

The ESP32-S3 microcontroller processes data from sensors and controls the device logic. The SX1262 LoRa module transmits telemetry and commands over long distances without cellular communications. The L76K GNSS receiver determines coordinates with high accuracy using all major satellite systems. The built-in QMI8658 IMU monitors motion and tilt to help stabilize the platform. The board can be powered by a 18650 battery, making it ideal for field use.

Specifications

The T-Beam Supreme model is equipped with an ESP32-S3FN8 microcontroller with two LX7 cores. Flash memory is 8 MB, and PSRAM is also 8 MB. The built-in LoRa transceiver SX1262 supports frequencies of 433, 868 and 915 MHz. The GNSS receiver is available in two versions: the accurate MAX-M10S or the economical L76K.

The board features a 1.3-inch SH1106 OLED display, a QMI8658 six-axis IMU, a BME280 pressure sensor, and a QMC6310 magnetometer. Power is supplied from an 18650 battery through a holder on the back. Interfaces include USB-C, QWIIC and a microSD card slot.

Features of the model range

The board is available in different LoRa frequencies: 433, 868 and 915 MHz. You can choose a GNSS module: the accurate MAX-M10S or the economical L76K. The model comes with pre-installed SoftRF or Meshtastic firmware. The kit contains everything you need to quickly start development. The board supports the installation of Meshtastic for creating secure Mesh networks without the Internet. This makes it ideal for field expeditions and monitoring systems.
