The Argut A-24 radio station operates in analog mode with frequency modulation (FM) in the UHF range (400–470 MHz). The direct conversion receiver provides a sensitivity of 0.16 µV (12 dB SINAD), which corresponds to -123 dBm. Adjacent channel selectivity reaches 65 dB, intermodulation selectivity 60 dB. This guarantees clear reception even in dense radio broadcasts.
Nominal audio output power 0.5 W at 5% THD. The transmitter has two power levels: low 1 W and high 8 W.
Maximum frequency deviation 2.5 kHz (12.5 kHz step) or 5.0 kHz (25 kHz step). The relative level of spurious emissions is -60 dB. The coefficient of nonlinear distortion in the transmission path is 10%. Built-in lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh and a voltage of 7.4 V provides up to 16 hours of operation in high power mode. Dimensions of the radio station without antenna are 59x118x46 mm, with antenna 59x264x46 mm. Weight with standard battery and antenna 265 g.
