Operating principle and design features
The MAD AMPX 30A controller belongs to a class of electronic speed controllers for brushless motors, specifically optimized for quadcopters. Its operation is based on highly intelligent software with the function of automatically adjusting the ignition timing (timing). This allows the device to adapt to different motors on the fly, ensuring maximum compatibility and efficiency right out of the box.
A key feature is the use of DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) technology, which improves throttle linearity and increases the overall efficiency of the powertrain. The signal wires are designed as twisted pair, which effectively reduces crosstalk and ensures stable operation even at high control frequencies up to 621Hz . This makes the regulator compatible with a wide variety of flight controllers. The regulator is equipped with powerful power switches with ultra-low resistance and is able to withstand peak loads up to 60A.
Specifications and installation
| Characteristics | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Direct current | 30-40 A |
| Peak current | 60 A |
| Input Voltage (LiPo) | 2–6S |
| Weight | 22 g |
| Dimensions | 68 × 25 × 7 mm |
| Power wires | 16AWG, 75mm |
| Supported protocols | Standard signal up to 621 Hz |
It is strongly recommended that you calibrate the gas range before first use. To do this, remove the propellers, turn on the transmitter with maximum throttle, apply power to the regulator and, after two short beeps, quickly move the throttle stick to the minimum position. The regulator supports parameter settings, including enabling or disabling DEO technology. Built-in protections will automatically turn off power in case of overload, short circuit, overheating above 140°C or signal loss for more than 0.25-0.3 seconds.
