Operating principle and technical details
iPower GM2804 brushless motor works according to the standard principle for its class. It converts electrical energy from the ESC into mechanical rotation. It is based on the interaction of the magnetic fields of the stator and rotor. The stationary stator contains windings made of copper wire. A rotor with neodymium magnets rotates around it.
The ESC supplies three-phase current, creating a rotating magnetic field in the stator. This field attracts and repels the magnets on the rotor, causing it to rotate. The KV parameter (for example, 2300) determines how quickly the motor will accelerate at a given voltage. The low KV version (1800) will give more thrust on the 6S. The high KV version (2800) will provide high speed at 4S.
