How does the BETAFPV LAVA II battery work?
LiHV cells operate at 4.35 V per cell. Z-Folding technology reduces internal resistance. A stable voltage of 15.2 V (4S) powers the drone. The high discharge current of 95C delivers power without sags. The drone gets sharp accelerations and stable flight.
The LAVA II battery range is available in several configurations. The 4S 680mAh version has a capacity of 680mAh, a voltage of 15.2V and a continuous current output of 95C. The 4S battery weighs only 64.2 g, dimensions 38x38x78 mm. Version 2S 680mAh has a voltage of 7.6V and a weight of 33.5 g. All LAVA II batteries are equipped with an XT30 power connector with 18AWG silicone wire and a JST-XH 2.54 balancing connector.
The maximum charging current for LAVA II is from 1C to 5C, which ensures fast preparation for flight. The storage voltage for all LiHV batteries is recommended in the range of 3.8–3.9 V per cell, which allows them to preserve their service life for a long time.
