Order confident penetration - BeastFPV 2.1 ELRS 915MHz TX 2W transmitter!

This is a powerful micro-transmitter for operation in the sub-gigahertz range. The BeastFPV 2.1 ELRS 915MHz TX is designed for flying in dense obstacles. The 915 MHz frequency provides exceptional penetration through wood and concrete. You maintain connection where 2.4 GHz completely loses signal.

  • Output power over 33 dBm or 2 Watts for record range.

  • 915 MHz frequency with better diffraction and obstacle avoidance.

  • STM32 microcontroller and SX1276 RF chip for a stable radio path.

  • Micro form factor for compatibility with most remote controls.

  • Optimized software for working with non-standard frequencies.

Sub-GHz technical power

The BeastFPV transmitter operates in the 915 MHz FCC band. This is a frequency with a wavelength of about 32 centimeters. The signal confidently bends around tree trunks and penetrates reinforced concrete floors. An output power of 2 Watts provides a communication reserve of tens of kilometers. The sensitivity of the receiver paired with this module reaches -115 dBm.

The heart of the device is the STM32 microcontroller. It is responsible for processing the ExpressLRS protocol and generating packets. The radio frequency part is built on the SX1276 chip. This is the industry standard for sub-GHz links with high sensitivity. The refresh rate of packets reaches 500 Hz with a power of up to 1 W. At a maximum of 2 W, stable 200-250 Hz are available.

Engineering excellence and ergonomics

The transmitter is made in a micro form factor. It is compatible with Radiomaster, Jumper and other models with a Micro slot. The compact case does not protrude beyond the dimensions of the equipment. Mounting is via a standard 5-pin JR connector. The SMA antenna connector allows the use of different types of antennas.

The module is powered with voltage from 5 to 13 volts. The recommended source is a 2S-3S LiPo battery. Above 500 mW, external power is strongly recommended. The built-in stabilizer ensures clean power lines of the RF path. Current consumption at 2 W reaches 1 ampere.

The ExpressLRS protocol supports a full range of telemetry. The transmitter reports voltage, signal quality, and packet errors. Settings are done through Lua scripts in EdgeTX. Firmware updates are available via USB-C or Wi-Fi. Configuration of frequency plans and power is done in a few clicks.

Scope of application

This is an ideal choice for long range flights over forested areas. The transmitter is indispensable when inspecting power lines in the taiga. The drone maintains control over tens of kilometers in conditions of complete lack of line of sight. The signal penetrates industrial buildings and underground structures.

The device is in demand among rescuers and monitoring services. Search drones equipped with such a module operate in densely built-up areas. The 915 MHz frequency is less congested than 2.4 GHz in urban environments. You get clear air without interference from Wi-Fi and household appliances.
