Quansheng UV-5R Plus works as a portable dual-band radio, providing transmission and reception in the VHF (136-174 MHz) and UHF (400-470 MHz) bands. The device is capable of receiving signals in an extended range from 50 to 600 MHz, including aviation frequencies (108-135 MHz), which allows you to listen to conversations between aircraft and dispatchers.
