Operating principle and main features
Quansheng UV-K5 works like a classic portable radio with the ability to receive and transmit in the permitted bands. Its key feature is software extensibility. The receiver based on the BK4819 chip is capable of receiving much more than what is stated in the standard firmware. The device has 200 frequency memories and supports CTCSS/DCS analog subtones.
The Air Copy wireless cloning feature allows you to quickly copy settings from one radio to another without a computer . The ergonomic body fits comfortably in the hand, and the weight of only about 240 g does not tire you out during long-term wear.
The walkie-talkie is equipped with a monochrome display with pleasant backlighting and an intuitive menu of 51 items. The transmitter power is adjustable and is 4.5-5 W in High mode.
