How does this powerful beam of light work and where is it used?

LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology in Zenmuse S1 creates a highly concentrated light output. It does not dissipate over long distances. This is ideal for spot illumination of objects. Control is via the DJI Pilot 2 app, where the operator can select modes, adjust brightness and activate the strobe.

Four modes - “low beam” (15°, up to 150 m) is suitable for general illumination of a landing or search site. High beam (4°, up to 300 m) for identifying distant targets, combined mode (up to 500 m) for maximum visibility, and strobe for attracting attention.
