Operating principle and features of use
Atmel-ICE Basic Kit connects to your computer via USB 2.0 high-speed and is powered by the USB bus. The device allows you to perform full in-circuit debugging: set breakpoints, view the contents of memory and registers, and step-by-step code execution. The programmer supports all major interfaces, including JTAG (32 kHz - 7.5 MHz), SWD (32 kHz - 10 MHz), PDI (32 kHz - 7.5 MHz) and debugWIRE (4 kbit/s - 0.5 Mbit/s).
Equipment and scope of application
The basic kit (ATATMEL-ICE-BASIC) includes a programmer-debugger in a protective case, a Micro-B USB cable and an IDC cable with 10-pin 50-mil and 6-pin 100-mil connectors. The device is intended for professional development of embedded systems based on Microchip microcontrollers. Ideal for debugging firmware of drones, robotics, automation systems and the Internet of Things.
