Operating principle and technical capabilities

The XT-S240 Mini lidar produces 3D imaging using time-of-flight technology. Four infrared VCSEL lasers with a wavelength of 940 nm emit modulated light. The EPC660 sensor measures the time it takes for a reflected signal to return to the sensor. Algorithms convert this data into a point cloud with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. The maximum refresh rate reaches 20 frames per second. The measuring range is from 300 to 1000 millimeters. This allows you to effectively identify obstacles and build maps of the area.

Technical characteristics and areas of application

The device is powered by 12-25V DC with a typical consumption of 6W. The 100 BaseT Ethernet interface provides high-speed data transfer. The factory IP address of 192.168.0.101 simplifies initial setup. A wide range of operating temperatures from -20 to 60°C and storage from -40 to 85°C allows the lidar to be used in various climatic conditions. The device weighs only 198 grams, and the 1/4-inch thread on the body provides convenient mounting.

The XT-S240 Mini lidar is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles. It enables precise positioning and obstacle avoidance in autonomous flights.
