Operating principle and technical capabilities
The FDROBOT Delta2A lidar uses a trigonometric distance measurement method. A laser beam with a wavelength of 780 nm is reflected from the object, and the distance is calculated from the displacement of the reflected spot at the receiver. The rotating module provides a 360-degree view. Angular resolution ranges from 0.3 to 0.8 degrees depending on settings.
The rotation frequency is stabilized at 6.2 Hz. The measurement accuracy does not exceed 1% at a distance of 5 meters. The stability of the results is ensured by a coefficient of variation of less than 0.2%. Power is supplied from 5 V at a current of 500 mA.
