Buy LILYGO T-Energy-S3 Development Board for Standalone IoT Projects Powered by 18650 Battery
The compact LILYGO T-Energy-S3 board is built on a powerful ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a frequency of 240 MHz. The main feature is a built-in holder for the popular 18650 lithium-ion battery. Now your devices are not tied to an outlet. The board is ideal for portable devices, monitoring systems and wireless sensors.
The LILYGO brand (Shenzhen Xin Yuan) is a well-known manufacturer of open hardware solutions for IoT and developers. The company specializes in ESP32 boards with a variety of functions: displays, LoRa, GPS and batteries. LILYGO products are distinguished by high quality, affordable prices and open documentation.
5 main advantages
- Built-in 18650 battery holder, easy to replace.
- Powerful ESP32-S3 microcontroller with 240 MHz frequency and AI acceleration.
- 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM for complex projects and large sketches.
- Two 20-pin GPIO connectors with 32 I/O lines.
- USB-C port for programming and battery charging.
How the development board works
Insert the 18650 battery into the holder on the board. The HX6610S's built-in charging chip manages the power. You connect the board to your computer via USB-C for programming. When the USB is disconnected, the board automatically switches to battery power. The power switch allows you to disconnect the battery for storage. The built-in ADC on pin IO3 measures the battery voltage.
The board supports popular development environments: Arduino IDE, PlatformIO and ESP-IDF. You can write code in C/C++, MicroPython or Lua. The kit includes examples for deep sleep and working with Wi-Fi. The Qwiic connector simplifies the connection of sensors and modules.
Specifications
The T-Energy-S3 model uses an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 microcontroller with two Tensilica LX7 cores. Flash memory is 16 MB, PSRAM is 8 MB.
