Operating principle and capabilities

The total station works as an intelligent measuring station, combining high-precision angular and linear measurements. The angular accuracy is 5 seconds, which guarantees reliable results for most construction and grading work.

The rangefinder provides reflector measurements up to 10,000 meters in long-distance mode and up to 3,500 meters in standard mode. Accuracy per prism reaches 1 mm + 1.5 ppm, and reflectorless measurements are performed with an accuracy of 2 mm + 2 ppm at short distances.

Leica Captivate software allows you to work with CAD files up to 50 MB in size and create 2D or 3D projections directly on the device screen. AutoHeight technology automatically calculates the height of the tool by projecting the laser beam along a plumb line . The EGL (Electronic Guide Light) guidance system with two LEDs helps the slat operator accurately position the target without additional operator commands, providing a working range of up to 150 meters.

Specifications and installation

The case is made of impact-resistant plastic and is completely protected from dust and strong water jets. An electronic two-axis compensator automatically levels the instrument up to ±4 arcminutes with an accuracy of 1.5 seconds. The built-in heating system ensures fast touch screen response at temperatures down to -35°C in the Arctic version. Power is supplied by GEB334 or GEB364 lithium-ion batteries, often including two batteries for continuous operation throughout the shift.
