Operating principle and key features

The RF Explorer 3G signal generator is built around a highly integrated frequency synthesizer and dual balanced mixer. This provides high performance in a compact size and low power consumption. The device operates in real time, displaying a spectrogram on a graphic LCD display with a choice of modes: peak-hold, normal, overwrite and averaging.

The sweep range is adjustable from 112 kHz to 600 MHz. Resolution bandwidth (RBW) is automatically selected from 2.6 to 600 kHz for detailed analysis of signals of different widths. Built-in 1800 mAh battery provides up to 16 hours of continuous operation. Charges via a standard Mini-USB port.
