Operating principle and model features
Baofeng UV-26L is a digitally controlled portable radio capable of operating on three frequency bands. The device is built on a reliable element base and has a shock-resistant housing that is resistant to harsh operating conditions. The large 1.77-inch TFT display shows all the information you need, including frequency, channel and charge level. The VOX voice activation feature frees your hands, which is especially convenient when on the move.
The walkie-talkie supports many advanced features, including NOAA for weather reception, DTMF for tone dialing, and call recording. The IPX6 rating ensures resistance to splashes of water, making it a reliable companion in any weather. Channel programming is carried out from a computer via a special cable and free CHIRP software.
