Operating principle and versatility

Baofeng UV-25 works as a portable transceiver, allowing you to transmit and receive signals in the VHF (136-174 MHz), UHF (400-480 MHz) and optional 220-260 MHz bands. The receiver covers a huge spectrum: FM radio, aviation frequencies in AM, as well as service bands. The transmitter power is adjustable (high/medium/low), which allows you to save power when communicating at close range.

The built-in scrambler encrypts conversations, and the VOX function frees up your hands. Using wireless frequency copying, you can quickly set up several radios without a computer.
