Operating principle and key features
The Argut A-12 radio station is built on a superheterodyne circuit, which provides high sensitivity (0.25 µV) and excellent interference suppression. Adjacent channel selectivity is 60 dB at 12.5 kHz step and 70 dB at 25 kHz step. Intermodulation selectivity reaches 65 dB. This guarantees clear reception even in dense radio broadcasts. The transmitter produces power up to 5 W, maximum frequency deviation is 2.5 kHz (12.5 kHz step) or 5 kHz (25 kHz step).
The level of spurious emissions does not exceed -60 dB. Sound output power is 0.5 W with a nonlinear distortion factor of 5% for reception and 10% for transmission. The radio is equipped with an SMA (f) connector for connecting an external antenna. Built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh (7.4 V) ensures long-lasting battery life.
The case has dimensions of 62x335x41 mm with antenna and weighs only 30 grams with battery and antenna. The operating temperature range from -30 to +60°C allows the radio to be used in extreme conditions.
