Design and optical design

The ARTELV SCANNER 8×42 binoculars are made using a roof-shaped optical design (Roof), which makes them compact and convenient for long-term wearing. The light flux passes through a lens with a diameter of 42 mm, is refracted in a BaK4 prism system with multi-layer coating and enters the eyepieces.

The phase coating of the prisms eliminates interference losses, and the dielectric coating increases the reflectivity to 99%. As a result, you get a high-contrast, natural and sharp image across the entire field of view. With 8x magnification and a field of view of 131 m x 1000 m, you can quickly locate an object and keep it in your field of view, even when viewing handheld.

Protection according to the IP67 standard and nitrogen filling of the housing guarantee the operation of the binoculars in difficult weather conditions. You can use it in the rain, in high humidity, in dusty steppes or on the sea coast. Durable rubber body kit prevents slipping and softens impacts. Central focusing and independent adjustment on the right eyepiece (±4 diopters) allow you to individually adjust the sharpness.
