Order the MV-MIPI-IMX265M industrial camera for your machine vision projects!

Get the perfect image for the most demanding computer vision tasks. The MIPI CSI-2 camera module is equipped with a high-quality SONY Pregius monochrome global shutter sensor. This allows you to take clear pictures of fast-moving objects without distortion or blur.

The model provides a resolution of 3.15 megapixels with a maximum frame rate of 55 frames per second. The device transmits data via the MIPI CSI-2 interface, which provides minimal latency and high throughput. The camera is ideal for use with popular platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi and Nvidia Jetson .

  • High-quality monochrome sensor SONY Pregius IMX265LLR-C with global shutter.

  • Resolution 3.15 MP (2064×1544) and frame rate up to 55 fps for detailed dynamics.

  • Compact PCB size of only 29x29mm for easy integration .

  • Flexible Mono-8, Mono-10 and Mono-12 output formats to balance speed and quality .

  • Advanced synchronization and external trigger functions for complex multi-camera systems .

Operating principle and image quality

The camera is built on a monochrome SONY Pregius IMX265LLR-C sensor with global shutter technology. Unlike a rolling shutter, it reads the signal from all pixels simultaneously. This eliminates geometric distortion and the “jelly” effect when shooting fast processes. The pixel size of 3.45 microns provides high light sensitivity and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The monochrome sensor, without a Bayer color filter, captures more detail and light.

The built-in ISP performs dead pixel correction, gamma correction, and allows for custom lookup tables (LUTs). You can programmatically adjust the gain in 0.1 dB increments and control exposure precisely. The device operates in video stream mode (Free Running) or by external hardware and software trigger.

Technical characteristics and interfaces

Explore detailed camera parameters. The SONY IMX265LLR-C Pregius sensor has an optical format of 1/1.8 inches and a pixel size of 3.45×3.45 microns. The maximum resolution is 2064x1544 pixels at 55 frames per second. Analogue gain range 0-24 dB, digital up to 24 dB in 0.1 dB steps. Output data formats: Mono-8, Mono-10, Mono-12.

The MIPI CSI-2 connection interface uses two data lines with speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps per line. Settings are controlled via the I2C 3.3 V bus. An external hardware trigger input and two multifunctional 3.3 V outputs are provided for synchronization. Power supply is 5VDC, power consumption is 1W. Overall dimensions 29x29x11 mm with C-MOUNT lens mount. Operating temperature from -30 to +60 degrees Celsius.

Applications and compatibility

The MV-MIPI-IMX265M is designed for industrial vision, robotics, and autonomous applications. The global shutter makes it ideal for quality control on production lines where parts move at high speeds. In UAVs, it provides reliable obstacle recognition and navigation. The model is compatible with Raspberry Pi single-board computers (via the ADP-MV1 adapter), as well as Orange Pi and Nvidia Jetson platforms based on Rockchip processors. Open Linux drivers and detailed documentation are available for integration.
