How the NanoPi Neo Air single board computer works
This is a full-fledged computer the size of a credit card. You install the operating system on eMMC or microSD. Connect 5V power via microUSB. The board is loaded and ready to go. Via GPIO you connect sensors, relays or displays. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity. You can use it as a smart home server, media center, or drone base.
Technical characteristics and functionality
Allwinner H3 processor runs at up to 1.2 GHz. The amount of DDR3 RAM is 512 MB. The built-in eMMC storage has a capacity of 8 GB. There is a slot for microSD memory cards. Built-in Wi-Fi supports 802.11b/g/n standard. Bluetooth 4.0 operates in two modes.
The board has two 24-pin and 12-pin GPIO headers. Through them the interfaces UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, USB, PWM and IR receiver are available. There is a DVP interface for connecting a camera up to 5 MP. Power is supplied via microUSB (5V/2A). Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C. Supported OS: u-boot, Ubuntu Core, Debian, Android.
