How does the Siminics Aries lidar work?

Lidar uses Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology to measure distance. It emits a laser pulse and measures the time it takes to return from the object. This allows you to determine the distance with high accuracy regardless of the range. The rotating mechanism scans the space 360 degrees, creating a two-dimensional map of the environment. The processor processes the data, generating information for navigation and avoiding obstacles.
