Cross-platform support and open SDK 2.0. Easily integrates with ROS, Python, C++ and other popular platforms and programming languages.
How does this camera work and where to use it?
The operating principle of the Intel RealSense D435f camera is based on active stereo vision. A pair of depth sensors, like human eyes, captures images of the scene from different angles. An infrared projector illuminates objects to improve visibility on uniform surfaces. The powerful Vision Processor D4 calculates the depth map in real time with millimeter accuracy.
The IR filter cuts out stray light, ensuring reliable operation even in bright sunlight. The camera transmits two streams: RGB color video with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second and a depth map with a resolution of up to 1280x720 at 90 frames per second. USB powered and an open SDK, the camera is ideal for robotics, drone navigation, gesture recognition and industrial control applications.
