Buy unrivaled speed - the reliable HGLRC Petrel75 frame for your Whoop drone
Want to build a stable and rugged micro drone for indoor racing? Then choose frame HGLRC Petrel75. This popular carbon frame is designed specifically for 75mm Whoop quadcopters. Its key feature is complete protection of the propellers. This allows you to fly safely indoors, colliding with walls and furniture. The frame is compatible with compact AIO (All-In-One) control boards. This is the perfect base for your first or racing Whoop drone.
Frame HGLRC Petrel75 is more than just a frame. This is a whole ecosystem for micro-flights. Its durable carbon frame surrounds the propellers on all sides. The protective arches take the blows, saving the motors and propellers. At the same time, the frame remains lightweight, which is critical for maneuverability. It is convenient to place an AIO board, a micro-camera and a 1S or 2S battery on it. This is the choice for drivers who value reliability in tight racing conditions.
Five main advantages of the frame
-
Full protection of propellers with arcs. Prevents screws from breaking and damaging surrounding objects. You can safely train in your apartment or office.
-
Durable and lightweight carbon construction. Withstands numerous collisions at speed. At the same time, it does not weigh down the drone, maintaining its agility.
-
The optimal size is 75 mm for the Whoop class. Allows the use of efficient 31-40mm propellers. This is the gold standard for indoor micro racing.
-
Compatible with compact AIO control boards. Simplifies assembly to a minimum, as only one board is needed. This is ideal for beginner micro drone builders.
-
Versatility for 1S and 2S power units. You can build both a simple training Whoop and a powerful racing Whoop. The choice depends only on your goals.
How does the frame for a Whoop quadcopter work?
Frame HGLRC Petrel75 is the basis for a class of quadcopters known as "Tiny Whoops". Its design is a single carbon frame. It has four built-in racks for mounting motors. A single AIO board (flight controller + ESC) is installed on top of these racks. On the nose of the frame there is a platform for mounting a micro-FPV camera. All wires and components are neatly placed inside the protective perimeter.
The main purpose of this frame is protection. Circular arcs extending from the center to each motor form a “cage”. When the drone crashes into an obstacle, this carbon arc takes on the impact. Propellers and motors remain unharmed. This allows you to continue flying or simply bounce and land. This design makes flying in confined spaces safe for both the pilot and those around him.
