Order the powerful Maytech Superfoc 6.8 50A ESC controller for your quadcopter!

Gain superior control over your drone's propulsion system. The Maytech Superfoc 6.8 50A ESC regulator is based on the advanced VESC6 architecture and is a compact and efficient solution for a wide range of applications.

The MTSPF6.8 model is capable of delivering constant current up to 50A and peak current up to 240A, working with 3-12S LiPo batteries (voltage up to 50V). Thanks to the excellent implementation of FOC (Field Oriented Control) algorithms and support of the official VESC_TOOL software, this controller opens up endless possibilities for fine-tuning.

  • Advanced VESC6 architecture. Based on VESC6 hardware with upgradable official firmware for maximum flexibility.

  • UAVCAN support. New functionality for direct communication with drone flight controllers, which is critical for professional systems.

  • High peak power. Peak current up to 240A allows you to withstand short-term extreme loads during sharp maneuvers.

  • Compact size. The board dimensions are 40x60mm, making it ideal for use even in confined spaces .

  • FOC mode stability. Using DRV8301 driver and optimized algorithm ensures smooth and reliable startup in FOC mode.

Operating principle and technological innovation

The Maytech Superfoc 6.8 is based on the original VESC6 hardware, but in a more compact package similar to the VESC4 . Maytech engineers improved the design by replacing the driver with the DRV8301, which solved the FOC startup issues found in previous versions . An additional resistor has been added for more accurate current data acquisition and an independent chip for instant sampling. Built-in 5V BEC provides power to the flight controller .

A key advantage for drones is support for the UAVCAN protocol in the new firmware, which allows the controller to communicate directly with the flight controller. This opens the way to advanced telemetry and more complex control algorithms. The power of MOSFET IRF7530 power switches from International Rectifier ensures high efficiency and reliability .

Specifications and Compatibility

Characteristics Meaning
Model MTSPF6.8 (SUPERFOC6.8)
Direct current 50 A
Peak current 240 A
Input voltage 3–12S LiPo (12.6 – 50 V)
Hardware base VESC6
Power keys IRF7530
Board size 40 × 60 mm
BEC 5 V
Firmware update Yes, via VESC_TOOL

The controller is compatible with most brushless motors used in FPV drones, robotics and electric drives. The setup and calibration process is carried out through the powerful VESC_TOOL software on a computer or smartphone. When connecting several controllers via the CAN bus, it is important to connect only the CAN L and CAN H pins, without connecting the GND and 5V lines.
