Technical characteristics and communication range
The MVM-AVIA receiver operates in the license-free range of 400-420 MHz. This is a Sub-G frequency with excellent diffraction. The signal bends around trees and penetrates concrete walls. The output power of the transmitter is 100 milliwatts. Receiver sensitivity reaches -112 dBm.
The ExpressLRS protocol ensures a stable connection. The packet update frequency is adjustable from 25 to 200 Hertz. At 50 Hz the delay is only 10 milliseconds. The number of control channels is up to 16 with a resolution of 10 bits. Supports two-way telemetry RSSI, voltage, signal quality.
Integration and Compatibility
The receiver connects to the flight controller via UART. The byte-encoded CRSF protocol is used. Power supply is 3.3 to 5.5 volts DC. Consumption in receive mode is about 30 milliamps. Built-in voltage regulator ensures stable operation.
The antenna is made of flexible steel cable. Its length is optimal for the 400 MHz range. The design is resistant to vibrations and shocks. The U.FL connector allows you to replace the antenna if necessary.
The receiver is fully compatible with EdgeTX remotes. A 400 MHz ELRS transmitter module is required. The firmware is updated via Wi-Fi or soldered port. Configuration is done via the web interface or Lua scripts.
