It allows you to connect digital video signal to any analog FPV goggles or monitor via HDMI output. The Ascent system is designed for beginners and hobbyists looking for an affordable alternative to analog video transmission. It provides significantly cleaner and more stable images compared to analogue.
The receiver picks up a digital radio signal from the video transmitter (VTX) of the Ascent system in the range of 5.725–5.829 GHz. It decodes the signal and outputs the image via HDMI at up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. Two omnidirectional antennas with left circular polarization (LHCP) provide minimal signal loss and reliable reception at distances up to 6 km.
Built-in automatic frequency switching function guarantees a stable signal even in noisy environments. The receiver is equipped with a microSD memory card slot, allowing you to record real-time video without an external DVR. Power is supplied via a DC 5.5×2.1 mm coaxial connector with a voltage of 7.4–25.2 V, which allows it to be connected to 2–6S batteries.
The Ascent VRX model has dimensions of 114.5×64×24 mm and a weight of 118 grams. Frequency range – 5.725–5.829 GHz (with support up to 6.40 GHz). Transmitter Power (EIRP): FCC/SRRC <30 dBm, CE <14 dBm. Bandwidth: 5/10/20 MHz and auto. HDMI output supports resolutions of 1080p at 50/60 fps and 720p at 50/60/100/120 fps.
The receiver is equipped with two RP-SMA connectors for antennas with LHCP polarization and 2 dBi gain. Interfaces: HDMI, microSD slot, DC 5.5×2.1 mm, SH1.0×6PIN and USB Type-C. Video recording format - MP4 (H.264).
