Operating principle and key features
The U2062XA power meter is a USB-controlled sensor with wide dynamic range. It connects to your computer via USB and does not require an external power source. The device measures average, peak and pulse signal power. The built-in processor performs calibration and temperature compensation. A sampling rate of 20 million samples per second allows analysis of fast processes.
The meter is capable of capturing single pulses with a duration of 250 nanoseconds. The signal rise time is no more than 100 nanoseconds. This allows you to accurately measure the power of signals with fast edges. The device supports continuous data acquisition for 1 second in compressed mode and 6.5 milliseconds in full mode. The maximum pulse repetition rate reaches 2 MHz.
Use the meter to check the actual VTX output power, tune antennas, and measure gain. The device is indispensable for diagnosing range and interference problems. The compact size allows you to take it into the field for operational measurements.
