TwinRX board for USRP X Series is a two-channel superheterodyne receiver. The receiver is configurable from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. Instantaneous bandwidth is 80 MHz per channel. The total bandwidth when two channels operate simultaneously reaches 160 MHz. Two channels can be configured independently of each other. This allows simultaneous monitoring of uplink and downlink.

The radio frequency path includes preamplifiers, preselectors and attenuators. Two mixer stages provide excellent selectivity and spurious signal suppression. The board is equipped with effective shielding to protect against interference. Six MMCX connectors provide flexible connections for antennas and external local oscillators. Noise figure is less than 5 dB up to 3 GHz.

A special feature of the model is the possibility of sharing a local oscillator. This allows multiple TwinRX boards to be synchronized to create phased array antennas.. The board supports frequency agility to detect fast-tunable emitters. USRP Hardware Driver (UHD) software interface automatically adjusts gain.
