How the EATECH SN650 thermal imaging binocular works

Uncooled VOx sensor detects infrared radiation in the spectral range 8–14 µm. Each pixel of the 640x480 matrix converts thermal energy into an electrical signal. The built-in processor generates detailed images, which are displayed on two OLED displays with a resolution of 1024x768. 50Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, lag-free viewing. You observe targets in complete darkness, fog and smoke, and the built-in laser rangefinder measures the distance to the object at the touch of a button.

The SN650 model is equipped with a 640x480 pixel matrix with a pixel pitch of 12 microns. Sensor sensitivity (NETD) is less than 30 mK. Optical magnification is 2.8×, digital zoom is smoothly variable up to 22.4×. Field of view horizontally - 8.78°, vertically - 6.59°.
