Operating principle and key features
The Ermenrich Seek TV50 thermal imager captures infrared radiation in the spectral range of 8–14 microns and converts it into a visible image. A microbolometer matrix with a resolution of 32x32 pixels generates a heat map, which is displayed on a 2.4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 320x240. The frame rate does not exceed 9 Hz, which is sufficient for static and slowly moving objects.
The measurement accuracy is ±1.8°C in the range from 0 to +400°C and ±3°C in the negative range. The temperature sensitivity (NETD) is 150 mK, which allows you to distinguish objects with a temperature difference of about 0.15°C.
The device supports multiple display modes: IR-only, visual-only, edge display, and IR-visual fusion. This helps to quickly identify problem areas. The built-in 2600 mAh battery provides several hours of battery life. Charging is carried out via microUSB. All pictures are saved to a 16 GB memory card in BMP format.
The Ermenrich Seek TV50 thermal imager is ideal for inspecting electrical panels, finding heat leaks in windows and walls, diagnosing heating and cooling systems, and for basic thermal imaging training. Thanks to the merge mode and built-in memory, you can create reports directly on site.
