Operating principle and functionality
Stack SoloGood F405 V4 BLS 60A is the central computing and power unit of the quadcopter. Its work begins with receiving commands from the pilot through the receiver. The signals are sent to the flight controller (FC). The STM32F405 microprocessor processes these commands along with data from the gyroscope and accelerometer. It calculates how much thrust each motor must produce to perform the maneuver.
The FC then sends high frequency digital signals (via DShot protocols) to the onboard ESCs. Each of the four ESCs converts battery energy into three-phase current for its motor. Integrating FC and ESC into a single board minimizes interference and latency. This gives the drone incredibly fast and accurate stick response.
Specifications and Applications
The technical parameters of the stack make it a leader in its class. The flight controller is based on an STM32F405 processor running at 168 MHz. It supports Betaflight and Emuflight firmware. Each of the four regulators provides 60A continuous current with up to 75A peak. The stack is fully compatible with lithium polymer batteries up to 6S (25.2V).
