Buy a specialized servo drive KST DS565X for your RC helicopter 450-500 class!
Give your tail rotor exceptional precision and lightning-fast response. The KST DS565X servo is specifically designed for use as a tail servo on helicopters with rotor blades ranging from 325 to 425 mm.
The device operates with a narrow control pulse of 760 μs and a frequency of 560 Hz, which ensures ideal compatibility with modern gyroscopes and stabilization systems. Featuring a powerful 15mm coreless motor, this servo guarantees fast response and stable tail hold under any load.
-
Specialization for the tail. Optimized to handle the narrow 760us/560Hz pulse required by gyros for precise tail rotor control .
-
Lightning speed. Just 0.04 seconds per 60 degrees at 8.4V provides instant response to torque changes .
-
High torque. Force up to 6.0 kg/cm at 8.4V holds the tail confidently even under extreme loads.
-
Premium Coreless motor. The highly efficient motor with low rotor inertia guarantees fast starting and precise positioning .
-
Maximum reliability. The one-piece CNC aluminum body, hardened steel gears and dual ball bearings ensure durability and rigidity of the design.
Operating principle and design features
This is a digital HV servo designed specifically for demanding helicopter applications. Its operation is based on a high-speed coreless electric motor with a diameter of 15 mm. Unlike conventional brushed motors, a coreless motor has significantly lower rotor inertia, which allows it to accelerate and decelerate almost instantly. This provides exceptional positioning accuracy and fast response to gyro commands, which is critical for a stable tail.
The device operates with a narrow control signal of 760 µs and a frequency of 560 Hz. It is important to remember: such a servo cannot be connected directly to the receiver - only through a compatible gyroscope that supports this mode. The durable CNC aluminum body not only adds rigidity to the structure, but also effectively dissipates heat, maintaining stable performance under prolonged use. Hardened steel gearbox and two precision ball bearings minimize backlash and ensure durability.
