By installing an amplifier between the transmitter and the antenna, you get an increase in signal power of up to 2 W. This greatly expands the range of reliable reception. This is an ideal solution for long-haul flights, where every extra second of control matters.
The device is connected between the transmitter and the antenna. It receives a weak signal from radio equipment and amplifies it to 2 W (33 dBm). At the same time, the high speed of switching between reception and transmission modes is maintained. This eliminates control delays. Built-in circuitry automatically detects signal direction and switches gain depending on whether your equipment is transmitting or receiving data. As a result, you get a clean, powerful signal at distances that are inaccessible to a standard transmitter.
2.4 GHz 2000 mW amplifiers are produced by several manufacturers under different brands, but their key characteristics are the same. The model from HappyModel is designed specifically for FPV applications and features a high-speed automatic transmission and reception switching circuit. Aluminum amplifiers effectively dissipate heat even when running at maximum power for long periods of time.
The delivery package usually includes the amplifier itself, an antenna with a gain of 5 dBi, power cable and connection adapter. Installation of the device requires minimal soldering skills and modification of the transmitter. Before turning on, be sure to connect the antenna - operation without it will damage the module.
