The MTI70182 motor is brushless. The Inrunner type design has a special feature. A rotating rotor with magnets is located inside. It is surrounded by a stationary stator with windings. This reduces the rotor moment of inertia. The motor can accelerate and decelerate quickly. This scheme gives very high speeds. Engine operation is exceptionally smooth.
