How does Robin W solid state lidar work?
There are no rotating parts inside. A microelectromechanical mirror (MEMS) directs the laser beam. 905 nm pulses are reflected from objects. The sensor measures the signal return time. The processor builds a 3D point cloud at a frequency of 10 Hz. Ethernet transmits data to the flight controller.
