How it works and where it is used MQ-7260AM

The MQ-7260AM module serves as a link between sensors and actuators in an Ethernet network. Signals from 6 discrete inputs (for example, from position sensors or buttons) are processed by the microcontroller. Data is transmitted via MQTT or Modbus TCP protocols to the upper level of the process control system. Upon command from the server, the module closes or opens the contacts of 6 power relays. This allows you to turn pumps, conveyors, lights and other loads on and off.

Form A (SPST N.O.) relays can handle up to 5 A at 250 VAC. current and 5 A at 24 V DC. current Thanks to the built-in web server, configuration is performed through a regular browser without special software. Two Ethernet ports with a built-in switch allow you to daisy chain modules, saving ports on the upstream switch.

The module is equipped with a watchdog, which automatically reboots the device in case of failures. Software-configurable Safe Values ​​and Power-on Values ​​protect equipment during fault conditions. LED status indication of inputs, outputs and network simplifies diagnostics.
