Operating principle and key features

Skyzone SKY02O glasses are built on the basis of two OLED displays with a resolution of 640×400. They provide excellent color reproduction and the clarity needed for high-speed flying. The viewing angle (FOV) is 29°, which creates an immersive effect and allows you to focus on the track. The heart of the glasses is the built-in 48-channel SteadyView receiver, which operates on the Diversity principle.

It simultaneously receives a signal from two antennas (included: a directional patch antenna and an omnidirectional one), and then software “glues” them together into a single stable video stream, effectively suppressing interference and “snow”.

The built-in DVR allows you to record video in AVI format to a microSD memory card. The HDMI input makes it possible to connect digital systems (HDZero, Walksnail) or train in a simulator, outputting a picture from a computer. Adjustable interpupillary distance (IPD) from 59 to 69 mm and the function of switching between 16:9 and 4:3 screen formats allow you to customize the glasses to the individual characteristics of the pilot. A built-in fan prevents lenses from fogging, and a head tracker opens up the possibility of controlling a PTZ camera.
