How the Flyto RX7500 video receiver works

The module receives analog video signals in the range of 6000–7500 MHz. Built-in FM/PLL demodulator converts it to composite video signal (CVBS). 1 Vp-p video output compatible with most FPV goggles and monitors. RSSI output allows you to monitor signal strength for precise antenna tuning. 5V power supply and consumption up to 390mA make the module economical. Compact housing simplifies installation in drones and ground stations.

Technical characteristics and functionality

The RX7500 operates in the frequency range 6000–7500 MHz. Receiver sensitivity is -95 dBm. Intermediate frequency (IF) is 5400 MHz. Antenna input impedance - 50 Ohm. Video output impedance - 75 ohms. Video signal level - 1 Vp-p with negative polarity. Supply Voltage - 5 VDC. Current consumption does not exceed 390 mA.

RSSI voltage varies from 0.6 to 1.2 V. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to +65°C. Storage temperature - from -30 to +85°C. The module supports two frequency control modes. DIP mode provides 16 fixed channels. SPI mode allows access to an unlimited number of channels. Default frequency without SPI signal - 6150 MHz.

The module is compatible with PAL and NTSC analog video systems. It is ideal for FPV drones, CCTV and experimental projects. High sensitivity ensures stable reception even in interference conditions.
