Choose the RCinPower AOS Supernova 2207 1570KV motor for your fastest drone!
Get your hands on an engine designed using advanced simulation technology. This motor was created by popular FPV YouTuber and engineer Chris Rosser in collaboration with legendary manufacturer RCinPower. Using finite element analysis and more than 20,000 iterations of calculations, engineers were able to achieve the ideal balance of power, torque and efficiency for racing and freestyle drones.
The KV 1570 version is specially optimized to work with high voltage 8S batteries, opening up a new dimension of performance. If you are looking for absolute power and instant response, this engine is your choice.
-
The result of a scientific approach: optimized with FEM simulation, guaranteeing superiority over competitors .
-
Colossal power on the 8S: Produces 37.6% more thrust and 52.9% more torque than standard 6S motors.
-
Instant Response: Delivers 60.9% faster rev changes for incredible stability and control .
-
High Efficiency: Demonstrates 3.5% better efficiency, maintaining battery charge even during aggressive piloting .
-
Superior Quality: RCinPower is made from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum with Japanese bearings and N52H magnets.
Operating principle and workmanship
The AOS Supernova 2207 is a brushless external rotor motor designed without compromise. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is not just assembled from high-quality components, but is the result of complex mathematical modeling. Chris Rosser used test data from dozens of motors to create a digital model and find the ideal magnet and winding configuration. The goal was maximum performance with a target weight of 31 grams.
The 12N14P configuration with powerful N52H round magnets provides incredible torque. The thick-walled 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum bellhousing dampens vibration and efficiently dissipates heat, while high-quality bearings ensure silky smooth operation and durability even under extreme loads.
Technical characteristics and application features
| Characteristics | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Dimensions (L x W) | 27.6 x 19.5 mm |
| KV | 1570 |
| Configuration | 12N14P |
| Weight (with 2 cm wires) | 31 g |
| Shaft diameter | 4 mm (hollow) |
| Fastening | 16x16mm, M3 screws |
| Recommended voltage | 8S LiPo |
| No-load current (@10V) | 1.1 A |
| Internal resistance | 65 mOhm |
| Max. continuous power (5S) | 1414 W |
| Max. current (5S) | 44.2 A |
| Zone max. efficiency | 4-9 A (>86%) |
While the motor is optimized for 5" propellers on the 8S, it can also be used effectively on lightweight 6" or 7" long-range drones with a 6S battery that will require lower voltage for long flights . For precise control at idle, Chris Rosser recommends the EXPO settings in Betaflight: Throttle MID = 0, Throttle EXPO = 0.20. This will allow you to enjoy both smoothness at low speeds and explosive power at full throttle.
