Brushless Motor - This is the heart of the quadcopter’s power plant. Unlike commutator analogues, it does not have rubbing brushes. The work is based on the interaction of the magnetic fields of the stator and rotor. The stationary stator contains copper windings to which current is supplied. The rotating rotor is studded with powerful neodymium magnets.
The ESC controller supplies three-phase current to the windings in a specific sequence. This creates a rotating magnetic field. It interacts with the magnets of the rotor, causing it to rotate. HGLRC Specter 1303.5 5500KV responds to controller commands instantly. The KV parameter shows the dependence of speed on voltage (5500 rpm per volt).
